Single Origin Coffee
Single origin means every bag comes from one region, one harvest — nothing blended in to smooth it over. Roasted to bring out what's distinct about that origin, not to make it taste like everything else. Come smell your way through a few in the Pymble shop if you'd rather taste before you decide.
Africa
Kenya AA is floral with tropical fruit, berries and a piquant, wine-like sweetness in the finish. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe — the birthplace of coffee — brings citrus, spice and floral notes with a fragrant, intense aroma.
Central & South America
Costa Rica is grown in the volcanic soils of the Tarrazu region — honey and floral aromatics with a delicate almond, creamy caramel body and bright tropical fruit. Colombia is medium-bodied with fruity, aromatic flavours and a rich cocoa sweetness — the crowd-pleaser of the range.
Pacific
PNG Organic comes from the rich volcanic soils of Papua New Guinea's Eastern Highlands — a lively, well-balanced cup with bright acidity and a sweet chocolate finish.
Single Origin Decaf
Cutting back on caffeine doesn't mean cutting back on origin character. Peru Decaf (Fair Trade Organic, Mountain Water process) is smooth and sweet with raisin, pear, dark chocolate and caramel. Colombia Decaf (Swiss Water process) keeps Colombia's sweet, nutty profile at under 1% caffeine.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does "single origin" mean?
Single origin beans come from one specific region or farm, roasted to showcase that area's unique flavour characteristics — rather than being blended with beans from elsewhere for a more balanced, consistent cup.
Which single origin should I try first?
Colombia is the easiest entry point — smooth and fruity with cocoa sweetness. If you want something brighter and more distinctive, try the Kenya AA or Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.
Do you have single origin decaf?
Yes — Peru Decaf (Mountain Water process, Fair Trade Organic) and Colombia Decaf (Swiss Water process) are both single origin and both under 1% caffeine.
Can I get single origin coffee ground for my machine, not whole bean?
Yes — choose your grind (espresso, plunger, filter, stovetop, Aeropress, Turkish) on each product page.
