Family-Run Coffee, Roasted in Pymble Since 1988
We’re a specialty coffee roaster on the Pacific Highway in Pymble — the same site where it all started back in 1988. Three families, one shopfront, one small-batch roaster: it’s all about the beans, and we’re here to help you enjoy your coffee as much as we enjoy ours.

Our story
Three families, one roastery

The 1980s
Serge Siboni
Serge Siboni brought his family’s European coffee expertise to Pymble in the 1980s, setting up a small roastery on the Pacific Highway and roasting small batches on-site the way his own family always had. That roaster has never left — it’s still here today.

2005 to 2025
Dean and Rose Kiner
When Serge retired in 2005, local coffee enthusiasts Dean and Rose Kiner took over and carried that tradition for twenty years — same in-store roaster, same shopfront, same care for the beans, building Siboni’s into one of the north shore’s best-loved local roasters along the way.

2025 to today
Andrew Brown and family
In 2025, Andrew Brown and his family took the reins. What hasn’t changed is the thing that’s mattered since 1988: it’s all about the beans.
Why we’re different
What hasn’t changed since 1988
Green-bean blended, then roasted to order
Most roasters blend after roasting. We blend the green beans first, then roast the blend as one — the way it’s been done here since 1988, and how you get a cup that tastes the same, batch after batch.
Roasted on-site, every week
Small batches, roasted right here in Pymble — never sitting in a warehouse before it reaches you.
Award-winning coffee, not just award-winning marketing
Silver and Bronze medals at the Sydney Easter Show and the Golden Bean Awards — recognition from other coffee people, not just happy customers.
One team for beans and machines
We’re one of the few places that roasts your coffee and services your equipment — authorised Rocket and Jura repairs, done by the same people who roast the beans.
Why we’re different
We’ve built a reputation as one of Sydney’s best local coffee roasters, stocking only a careful selection of quality products for our discerning customers. Here’s why.
We are:
Approachable
We have a beautiful little store in Pymble, Sydney, selling coffee beans, blends, machines and accessories, plus service and repairs for Jura and Rocket machines. We thrive on chatting with our customers and guiding them to coffee greatness.
Experienced
Siboni’s is a small, owner-run business that prides itself on phenomenal products and excellent service. We just love educating and informing our customers on how to get the best from every cup, from the careful, ethical and sustainable selection of our coffee beans, to the loving preparation of our small batch roasts, to the quality machines to brew at home.
Expertise
Our beans are carefully selected and roasted in-house, before selling in-house or shipping to our loyal customers across Australia. We stock only a selection of the best machines and accessories on the market. Quality is everything.
Knowledgeable
We love coffee and stay on top of the latest trends and developments, so we can provide you with the best possible advice.
Committed
We can cut through the jargon and provide our simple viewpoint, based on years of experience and passion for coffee.
Who you’ll find behind the counter
Meet the team
Today, Siboni’s is run by Andrew Brown and his family, carrying on a roastery that’s been part of the Pymble community for over 35 years. We’re still small, still hands-on, and still here to help you find a coffee you genuinely enjoy — no jargon, no upsell, just good beans and honest advice.
Come and see it happen
Visit the roastery
We’re on the Pacific Highway in Pymble — pop in, watch the roaster running, and talk beans with the people who actually roast them. Coffee lovers visit us from right across the Upper North Shore — Gordon, Turramurra, Killara, West Pymble, St Ives, Wahroonga, Lindfield and Roseville — and further afield across Sydney. Pymble station is a short walk from the shop, so it’s an easy stop without a car.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Siboni’s still family-run?
Yes — Siboni’s has been family-run since Serge Siboni opened the roastery in the 1980s, through Dean and Rose Kiner’s twenty years, to Andrew Brown and his family today.
Are you the same coffee shop Serge Siboni started?
Yes — same site on the Pacific Highway in Pymble, same in-store roaster, same approach to the beans. Ownership has changed hands twice since 1988, but the roastery hasn’t moved.
Do you still roast the coffee on-site?
Yes — every batch is roasted in-store in Pymble, the way it’s been done since 1988.
Can I order online, or do I need to visit in person?
Either — we ship our beans to loyal customers right across Australia, or you’re welcome to visit us in person in Pymble.
Do you sell and service coffee machines too, not just beans?
Yes — alongside beans, we sell and service coffee machines and accessories, including authorised Rocket and Jura repairs. See our Repairs & Servicing page.
